Hi, I’m Tom Wegner — a retired Air Force Colonel with over 31 years of leadership experience leading teams through complexity and change. Most recently, I served as Chief of HR and Logistics for the Air Force Recruiting Service, where I led a dedicated team supporting 2,890 military members and government civilians across more than 1,000 locations worldwide. In that role, I oversaw the annual selection of 400 new recruiters, managed the Air Force’s largest GSA vehicle fleet, and the annual real estate process that predicted future recruiting office locations to meet Air Force accession goals.

My journey began as an enlisted Security Forces Airman. I worked as a civilian police officer while serving in the Air Force Reserves before returning to active duty to earn my commission. Throughout my career as an officer, I’ve led both small teams and large organizations through crisis, transition, and constant change.

That experience taught me what works when the stakes are high and resources are tight.
